It’s time to streamline our communication!
www.skowt.com is a new website designed just for Scouting. This new website puts the emphasis on safe and secure communication between Leaders, Members and Parents.
Skowt.com gives each Group their own “Space” which is part of the larger network within skowt.com. You can see our homepage here:

Our new site features photo sharing, messaging, calendars and document sharing. We will use Skowt to help us reduce costs time spent creating and sending out information to section Members and Parents.
We are all aware of the potential dangers our youngsters face when communicating online. As Leaders and Parents we want to make sure that young members are protected and that their information can only be seen by the people we want to see it.
The Skowt team have included some simple yet effective features which make joining and using Skowt really safe. Every user account has to be checked by a Leader which means we know who is using our site. Also any user can report something within the site at any time if they are not happy with it (CEOP panic button plays a big part in this).
Shortly we will start using Skowt to share all Group and Section information, so please join our Space today.
Both you and your Child need to create an account. If you wish you can then link your accounts together so that you can monitor what your child is doing within Skowt.
Joining is easy! Just follow the 4 simple steps below.
1. Visit www.skowt.com and follow the join links to register your account
2. Check your normal email inbox and click the verification link the system sends out
3. Wait for a Leader to validate your account (this makes it safe) – you will then receive an email
4. Login and start using Skowt
